Dear Friends & Allies,

Carl Linnea invites you to Vorsgaard in the lands of the White Wolf to celebrate the end of a very eventful year. Between chasing down the oathbreaker Jarfin and ensuring the complete success of the Grand Renewal of Magic, we have run you all off your feet through the year. It is therefore only fitting that we thank you for your unwavering support by providing you with meat and mead, and all the entertainment you can handle. As with the last Winter Banquet, carts will be waiting at the end of the night to ferry you to the local inns for those who book rooms at them.


When: 27th November, after noon. The hog will be roasted in time for a late lunch, with cold meats in the evening. (Herbivores will be suitably accommodated.)

Where: the Meade Hall of the Crown & Cushion, Minley Road, Voorsgard. (near Camberley/Fleet)


(A form will be uploaded this week after costs are confirmed, and copies available at Renewal. These can be returned to either Linnea or Freydis in person at Renewal or by post to Vicki - address on the form.)

Having just checked the price of getting a train down there (£92 ) if there is anyone heading down with space in car going through or near Huddersfield let me know. Will of course be willing to split petrol costs and such

Finally been able to confirm price. Sorry for the delay.

• Good news! New cheaper price compared to the last one (they must love us): £35
• Booking form: attached. Please try and give us the form at Renewal if possible!
• Deadline for booking: first week of November (get in touch with Vicki or I directly if this is an issue)
• Booking forms: Will have a bunch with me at Renewal. Find them in 1) the Black Wolf tent, 2) the White Wolf tent and 3) the Command tent.
• Camper vans: Absolutely no problem.
• Tents: TBC. Will be limited to a couple max if we can get permission.
• Timing: Roast Hog @ 3ish, arrive any time from 1pm ish onwards. (To be fair, we'll be there from 10ish, so anyone arriving before may be roped in to help preparations.) Cold pig, the very filling broth, tasty bread & salad, and possibly dessert if we have room for the evening - to hopefully maximise the amount of pig eaten!!
• Roasties & Veggies: I've been assured that they never use animal fat for roasting either veggies or potatoes, because the owner used to be a veggie and knows what it's like. Whoever said otherwise whilst serving was unfortunately mis-informed. I'm SO sorry, Tam & Sarah, that you missed out on yum when you didn't have to. Still - good news for the next one.
• Hotels: Anyone who finds a particularly good deal, tell the rest of us as soon as you find it! Not so much notice now it's in November, after all.....

Should any wolfskins be attending, the costs are 0-3y £10; 4-12 £20, 13+ full price (starve them beforehand if they don't eat like a horse? )

Hi Sal, thanks for the fantastic efforts you guys have put in on behalf of us grazers, it is unfortunately, at this stage looking unlikely that we'll make it to banquet.

100 forms printed to bring with me; Vicki's bringing her entire Renewal money in fivers.

Or in other words, anyone wishing to give us money / book for Banquet at Renewal will be greatly appreciated Let this server as a reminder to anyone who had forgotten 'til now!

They could, difficulty would be catching it after it's been in a 747 jet wash...
