You just enjoy the danger of wondering when she's going to take offence and start cutting bits off

The Good:
  • Team Mass Distraction's epic challenge to the winners of the tug of war…it's amazing what you can achieve when you know you've got your whole faction behind you!
  • Successfully ducking additional responsibility from two different directions
  • Playing with Dirran & Huntr Surtr's memories (by request!)
  • Getting fed cake & shortbread & beer & whisky & mead by the Fir Cruthen while monstering as poor Caledonian peasants who had been viciously attacked by terrifying goblins
  • Signy & Sedgeric's engagement!
  • The look on Miriam's face when I told her there was a Teutonian at the gate wanting to apply for a licence to carry poisons in Norsca

The Bad:
  • Getting knocked out of the Kubb in the semi-finals
  • Missing the Saturday monster slot because I was off ambassadoring and didn't get back in time
  • No fire in camp most of the time due to space issues
  • Not making it to the Tavern once!

…I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch of stuff!

I think you mean Bassagrim, it'd be pretty difficult for Isengrim to concentrate on anything right now, except from stopping the worms eating his nasal cavity

The Good
Getting to see the faction from a very different point of view - and still being very proud of it and all you guys!
Getting to play in the faction and getting a very different perspective on it.
Finding my feet an getting my teeth into a new character for the first time in 6 or more years.
Boulder tossing!
Seeing the wolf monsters trying to wind up every faction out there and managing to collect more food and drink than they could manage!
Some of the fun, original and VERY characterful events.
Watching the bards competition - and the incredibly high level of competition - and one story very close to my heart :)
Not having my name called every 5 minutes - I'm sure it'll be happening again soon.
Getting stuck into some serious crafting and along with the other members of the workshop making it happen!
Dipping my toes in the trading underbelly that I'd seen very little of before.
Playing surrogate papa bear to a few of the kids for a short while!

The Bad
We really can pick 'em hen it comes to the weekends weather
Bloody useless spirit gum
Bloody ridiculous fake beards

The Ugly
Coming home to jump straight back into the stress of house hunting!

Shame on you - how can you learn the leys of the Old Norscans without a visit to the Crimson Moon ??

Maybe next time ...
